Toolmaking
With over 20 years history of CNC work, our team of craftsmen are capable of machining materials from polystyrene through to steels and cast irons.
Using CNC equipment, our skilled staff have over 200 years experience between them and are all fully time served. Their capabilities include hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical work as well as machining which enables Elkington Brothers to produce free standing tools of up to 25 tonnes in weight.
We have 2, 11 ton spotting presses, used to bed tool joints together.
In addition to our toolmaking facilities, we also offer a complete Deep Hole Drilling/Boring facility.
Utilising our Butler Elgamil drilling machine, we are able to drill to a maximum depth of 4m and are happy to offer this as a ‘stand alone’ service to clients.
